NYI Program Costs 2011
NYI is a not-for-profit project. We charge the minimal amount for the program possible given the costs we have and the support we have been offered.
Fees are determined based on (i) primary country of residence and (ii) citizenship.
NB: To qualify for a lower fee amount, an applicant must meet both residence and citizenship requirements
Fee breakdown for students from Eastern and Western Europe:
Eastern Europe: 6,000 rubles (150 Euro) to NYI; 100 Euro ($140.00) to Stony Brook*
Western Europe: 8,000 rubles (200 Euro) to NYI; 200 Euro ($280.00) to Stony Brook*
*NYI Fees to be paid in St. Petersburg. Contact Prof. John F. Bailyn for details on payment of Stony Brook fees
Fees do not include dormitory, transportation or visa costs. Fees subject to change and variation in exchange rates. Russian language courses included in US credit option; otherwise available on request
